Don't know if you've seen an article in The Scotsman (http://news.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=2860034) in which Chris Patten says, "Europe presents a particular challenge to teachers trying to find ways to excite their students and motivate them to learn".
To learn what, exactly? I agree that children don't know much about Europe - but then neither do most adults. How could they, when the real issues have been suppressed and misrepresented?
It's the electorate who need to have the constitution, and the past treaties leading up to it, spelled out to them in detail - not the youngest and most impressionable who need to be brainwashed.
Must get to bed. I think we've been promised one more day of sunshine before the next deluge, so must be fit to take advantage of it!
