New structure for Agency
Monday, 20 September 2004
From today the Food Standards Agency has a new structure that will reflect its new strategic plan.
Some of the Agency's key departments have been restructured so the organisation reflects more closely the focus of the Agency's work over the next 35 years.
What a load of self satisfying GUFF.
I thought the plan was to protect the public's health?  They now have a new strategic plan?  What's that, switch off their PC's and catch crooks?
The Food Standards Agency is an independent food safety watchdog set up by an Act of Parliament in 2000 to protect the public's health and consumer interests in relation to food.
I hope they (FSA) watched Channel 4 tonight about the dirty meat industry.  The FSA cannot even be good coppers and catch these crooks; it takes people outside their doors to do their work!
