What I should of said is that the RSPCA's main philosophy is to only go to Court with cases that they are almost certain of winning. Obviously some will fail - but they very seldom back losers. This I read on a news group from people who used to work for the Society.
I feel that the good of the animals has long since stopped being this organisations main concern. It is all about money, and corporate image. The cases they bring to court are no more about how that animal was treated. They are just to remind everyone that the RSPCA is still out there and will you all please get out your cheque books.
Did you know that Inspectors get interest free loans from the charity funds to buy their homes. Not a bad little perk. The RSPCA say this is because Inspectors are expected to move location. Well perhaps so - but then so are a lot of other people and they pay a visit to something called a Bank!
