There is little doubt that the EU team, whilst mucked about by the Wreckers from The Most Loved Party in the Whole World are very keen to have further submissions about F&M and quickly too.

The Rapporteur for the group endorsed this view as did the other MEPs. Even the short distance from the UK means that Brussels is devoid of the essential fine detail of the past year and Peter thinks that after Gt. Orton, the pfenig began to drop about the tidal wave of anger which is building up and was seen to overflow on a couple of occasions.

Can you remind your "hitters" that submissions can still be sent in to the EU and for preference they should go to:-

Dr. CAROLINE LUCAS MEP VICE PRESIDENT FMD INQUIRY EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT OFFICE 8G103
RUE WIERTZ B-1047
BRUSSELS.
FAX: +32 2 2849153
EMail: clucas@europarl.eu.int

The Cumbrian County Council Inquiry is about to kick off. Submissions need to be sent to:-

John Hetherington
FMD INQUIRY LEAD OFFICER
FMD INQUIRY
CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL
THE COURTS,
CARLISLE CA3 8NA
(Deadline 26th. April 2002)

In both cases I think it is very important to pick up the vaccination issue. It needs a much higher profile than hitherto irrespective of which camp you are in.

Best regards,

Suzanne.
