We need all the help we can get.

One of the consequences of fmd, as you know, was that livestock markets,
particularly for "exotic" breeds, were pretty grim last year.  This was
especially so for alpacas, where good quality animals which previously were
selling for £7k or more were selling for about 1/3 that price.  Many owners
now have more animals than they can cope with/desire.

The owners in our area have got together and are organising an auction in St
Albans on 15th March. We have developed a website at www.alpacas.org.uk.    

We feel at a disadvantage vis a vis the big
breeders and need all the help we can get.
