Vaccinated (FMD) meat and confusion over the EU Directive
Article 58 para 13 - By way of derogation from paragraph 8 a special health mark which cannot be confused with the health mark referred to in paragraphs 8(c) and 9(c), may be decided in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 89(3) for fresh meat of ruminants not subjected to the treatment in accordance with Part A of Annex VIII, and minced meat and meat preparations produced from such meat, which are intended for placing on the market in the specific region of the Member State of origin.
In plain English, you don't need to debone meat from vaccinated animals or subject it to heat treatment when it is sold in your own country.
