At least your French neighbours are acknowledging that Wild Boar may play a part and not just poor old Brock. Here they ignore the news from the Deer society,think only of the Camelids and human profit. Alpaca etc are creatures of the wide plains not kept in acre pens, do we need them at all?
However inaccurate the intradermal test is , it now looks as though if strictly applied and farmers go back to basic principles and abide by the law on movements, progress can be made,as of old.
I stood in a farm yard the other day with one of my old clients sons and we counted seven empty Dairy Farms with not a living creature on them. I told him his father would turn in his grave if he could see old cars dumped in his immaculate cowshed.
