We shall be meeting Borders Council personnel first and travelling to Newcastleton for the first open meeting that afternoon.
In the evening we shall have a further public meeting in the Council Chambers in Newtown St Boswells.
These meetings are being held so that the committee members can hear views and experiences; we shall be entirely in listening mode to whose lives and businesses were affected by FMD. They must have the opportunity to say what they want to say.
Broadly the same arrangements will apply for our Dumfries visit which is scheduled for 11/12th March.
